Hubbardston Nonsuch

Hubbardston Nonsuch, also known as Nonesuch, is an American heirloom apple first discovered in Hubbardston, Massachusetts, 1830.

The apple is large, clear red skin with small white stars here in upstate New York, but color is variable, can be pink in other climates. Flesh is white, moderately firm, sweet, rich and aromatic.

Tree crops early, heavily, and tends to be biennial. Moderately resistant to all major diseases. Hardy to zone 4.
