Amere de Berthencourt is a French cider apple first discovered in the mid 1800's.
The apple is green-yellow oblate, sugary, bittersweet, and perfumed, with subtle tannins.
The tree is prolific, vigorous, and cold hardy to -30, hardy to zone 4. Susceptible to apple scab.
