Beauty of Bath is an heirloom apple from Bath, England, 1864.
The taste is sharp at first but sweetens later, the flesh is white with an occasional red flush. Very good flavored early season apple.
An early apple usually cropping in August but can crop as early as July or last into September. Can bruise easily and drop early, traditionally straw was placed under the trees to lessen damage to falling fruit. Moderately disease resistant.
