Burford Redflesh

Burford Redflesh is an a possible seddling of Red Siberian crab that was first discovered by Tom Burford, U.S in the 1970's.

Spectacular red-fleshed apple, flesh is very tart. Good for ciders, pies, sauces, etc. Used by the Burfords as a color additive for cider.

Tree is moderate in size, with deep purple leaves and bright red blossoms. Resistant to major apple diseases, ripens mid-fall.
