Collaos

Collaos is a preferred Spanish cider apple.

This is a hard green apple that turns yellow at maturity with juicy, astringent, and granular flesh. Yields a semiacida or bittersweet juice with high tannin content.

The tree is medium-low vigor with upright erect growth. Resistant to most common disease, except for canker. Very late ripening, ripens at the beginning November in upstate New York.
