Dayton (Co-Op 21)

Dayton is also known as CoOp 21, and is a cross of PRI 123249 x PRI 1235-100 developed by the PRI around 1988.

The apple is medium-large, attractive, shiny, full, red, crisp and sweet-tart.

The tree is vigorous, consistent, and annual in production. It appears to possess good resistance to all major apple diseases.

Ready to harvest in late August in upstate New York, keeps till October. A royalty of $1.00 is added to the base price of this tree.
