(DESCRIPTION BY BOB PURVIS NAFEX) Widely adaptable, self fruitful, highly resistant to disease and spring frosts, ripens very early. Most reliable cropper of all varieties in the eastern US, from north to south, 22 out of 24 years running in some locales. Crop will not hang on the tree, must be picked entire as soon as ripe. Proven hardy to -29F in central MN.
