Earned the reputation of being the hardiest of the European Prunus domestica varieties. Tree is upright to spreading, open center, moderate vigor, fully self-fertile and an excellent pollenizer of other European plums. Fruits are round, medium sized, light blue skin with greenish-yellow, juicy, freestone sweet flesh, excellent for fresh eating, O.K. for drying, ripe late August in central MN. Genetic semi-dwarf. SELF FERTILE.
